The 7th International Symposium on Advanced Control of Industrial Processes (AdCONIP 2022) will be held at The Nest, UBC Vancouver, BC, Canada on August 7-9, 2022

The International Symposium on Advanced Control of Industrial Processes (AdCONIP) is a triennial international conference. AdCONIP 2022 is the seventh symposium following previous events at Kumamoto (2002), Seoul (2005), Jasper (2008), Hangzhou (2011), Hiroshima (2014), Taipei (2017).

This symposium aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss the state of the art developments/techniques in advanced control and its applications in industrial processes. The emphasis of this symposium will be on the theory and practice of advanced industrial control methods.

Opening Reception

  • Date/Time: August 7th 2022 (Sunday) - 7.00PM
  • Location: UBC AMS Nest Rooftop Garden
  • The conference organizing team is pleased to invite you all to the reception on Sunday at 7 pm (right after the workshops). The reception will be held on the Rooftop Garden at the conference venue (6133 University Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z1). There will be volunteers to help you find the place.

Our private Rooftop Garden is perfect for outdoor weddings and can be configured to host parties from 100 to 150 guests. The mountain views and privacy make for memorable special occasions. And on sun-drenched days, the rooftop cover offers ample shade from the sun and a cosy setting for you and your guests on beautiful summer evenings. Space rental includes tables, chair, set-up and tear-down.

Conference Banquet

  • Date/Time: August 8th 2022 (Monday) - 6.00PM
  • Location: UBC Sage Restaurant
  • The Banquet is a ticketed event that will be held at Sage Bistro (6331 Crescent Rd, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z1) on Monday at 6 pm. It is a 15 min walk through the campus from the conference venue. Drinks will start around 6 pm and the dinner will be served around 7 pm. If you have registered for the Banquet, please meet our volunteers at the conference venue to walk you to Sage Bistro after the sessions end on Monday.
